You would lose quite a bit of weight. The goal is to burn more calories than you consume. One pound equals about 3,500 calories. Drink a loooooot of water if you want to lose a lot of weight. One hour of walking or running can burn in between 400 to 600 calories depending on your weight and pace. 400 jumping jacks, 300 crunches, 100 pushups, and 300 squats burns 1,000 calories. Just make sure the 500 calories you do eat are healthy foods that will give you energy in order to work out. Drink a lot of water, and bananas give you energy.

Please don't do this. Anything less than 1200 calories a day is extremely unhealthy, and your body will think you are starving it, so you actually won't lose much weight because your body will start storing fat for energy.

Eat a balanced diet with LOTS of fiber – I can't stress this enough. Fiber is what pushes food through your body and keeps your digestive system clean. It's only found in plants, so eat lots of fruit, vegetables and whole grains.

Drink a TON of water too, and do interval training. These are the best ways to burn fat quickly (and healthily).
